The marriage of Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter, who are both 98 years old, is "the most significant thing in my life," according to Carter.

In an interview with the Associated Press on July 4, Rosalynn Carter used the term "partnership" to describe their relationship. Rosalynn said, "I knew more about the business on paper than he did."
The time the Carters spent cooped up in their Plains, Georgia, home during the coronavirus outbreak contributed to the development of their relationship over time. During a guest appearance on "GMA," the 39th president claimed that their 75-year marriage had deepened their love for one another. "I consider that to be somewhat extraordinary. Not many couples experience this, but it did happen to us.
It's impossible not to love them. The Carters are the nicest, most genuine individuals you will ever meet.
