I have a feeling that with all the shit that happened to me in the past three months, I am still having a better year than 2022. The last year has been awful for me. I fell into a writer's block, I was depressed at the beginning of the year, stopped working on my blog, workout out, taking care of myself… If something could go wrong, it did last year and then, the cherry on top, my father entered my life again in December.
I have rapidly recovered from a lot of the bombs that went off in my life recently and I think that is thanks to therapy. 10/10, would recommend to everyone. One of the side effects of my journey towards mental stability has been that my creativity is creeping back in. And how I've missed her.
I believe I have written more in these two months than I did in the 12 months of last year and I love being back on my blog and publishing everything. Now, I would also like to read what you got for me again and I would love to come back to The Poetry Bar.
It has always been active, but not as much last year because I wasn't around on my blog. I would like to get it going again, serving poetry, drinks, snacks and feelings every day so if you'd like to send in some work, share with the community I would be more than happy to publish it.
