My last "Bloganuaries" for the year.

Arghhh my beloved #bloganuary came to an end yesterday.

It's something I look forward to now that I've participated in it for 2 years running. I love the prompts that help focus my writing for the day but most of all, I love reading the answers from bloggers all over the world and being able to support them and share ideas and opinions. I find my "following" increases a little during Bloganuary and my 'readers' list definitely goes up. If I like your style of writing, Imma hit 'subscribe' to your blog and comment on as many as I can.

I know how much comments light ME up, so I'll do my best to leave a few for you on your blog, too. I think Tommy, Shanti, Sara and Ellie get ESSAYS from me, but that's because I'm 'loving' you through words. The longer my response - I hope you feel the love. Lol.

One bloganuary prompt I didn't get a chance to answer was something like "What would you title the chapters of your Autobiography?". I've completed my stunning, incredible (if I do say so myself) memoir and titled those chapters, but an autobiography is an entirely different being...so these are my chapter ideas for it:

Chapters 1-3: "Born different"

Chapters 4-7 "The Unfavourite"

Chapters 8 -10 "Friends who are better than family"

Chapters 11 & 12 "To every boy I've ever kissed"

Chapter 13: "Never doing THAT again"

Chapters 14-16 "Oops. I did it again"

Chapters 17 & 18 "Everything on your body hurts when you're older. Everything"

Chapters 19 & 20 "Totes grateful to be alive...where is the buffet?"

The last prompt was about sunsets and the best place closest to me to see one. I loved seeing WordPress light up with thousands of pictures of sunsets from all over the world. Absolutely beautiful. In today's age of shootings, murders, war, racism, hatred, pain, illness...it was wonderful to see us all connect on the great honour it is to see a beautiful sunset.

Here are some pics of sunsets either from our driveway or from the train station across the road from us:

*** (JD - note to self - upload pics from your phone here, dude) ***

I read somewhere that if we'd NEVER seen stars before and suddenly one night, they appeared, it would go down in history as absolutely incredible. We'd all be wowed at how gorgeous stars are. Instead, because we see them so often (or do we? I live really close to the city, so I'd have to travel down South with Alun and get away from human-built lights/Industrial buildings and factories to see any, I think) that we don't care. A lot of us (me included) don't look at the night's sky in wonder anymore.

I think the same can be said for sunsets...except I was happily proved wrong on this one - because sooo many bloggers LOVE the sunset and have done for a long time.

Like me 🙂

And that ends my bloganuary posts. Now we'll go back to me writing about whatever I think and feel it the moment it happens. Lucky you!!! Hahahhahaa 🙂
