Hi everyone, I'm back and to the new readers: welcome to my blog, Musings of the Mind.

I decided to do a reintroduction post because I made the difficult decision to end my current Instagram page and start a new Instagram page. The details of why I made that decision are in this blog post entitled It's That Time Again.
While the decision was not an easy decision, I'm pleased that I made it as I now have more time to genuinely interact with the persons who are supporting me on my blogging journey as well as connect with other bloggers and reshare their work. In addition, my new page will be strictly centered on blogs and quotes. That means my "Mid-Week Inspiration" will now be posted simultaneously across all my social media platforms.
So a little about me for the newer ones. I do blog under my real name, Rachel Ramdhan. I'm a military lifestyle blogger from Trinidad and Tobago and I call myself a military lifestyle blogger because my husband is in the military. I do not have a niche. I write about a wide variety of topics more or less based on what's happening in my personal life. That said, I tend to write more personal pieces.
I love connecting with bloggers around the world. While I may not always comment on a blog post, if I like your blog post it means I read the entire post and I like what I read. Sometimes I'll pick a blogger and try to read as many of their posts as possible. Unfortunately, this doesn't happen as much as I'd like, but I'm hoping with a freer schedule that that will change.
Last year I started a new series of sorts where I share some blog posts that I enjoyed for a particularly month. I'm hoping to kickstart that again so it will encourage my readers to connect with new bloggers and encourage my fellow bloggers to continue writing.
