Psalms 3:2-5 – So many are saying, "God will never rescue him!" Interlude But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. I cried out to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy mountain. Interlude I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me.
Yesterday, I woke up not feeling so good. Before the morning had even started, I was on my way to the hospital. I had that thought that I was in trouble. But it doesn't appear that it's anything life-threatening and actually may just be the wrong medication that I was taking.
But after being poked and scanned, I really want to go home. One place I don't like to stay is spending the night at the hospital. But that is exactly where I'm at.

For a while, I was feeling sorry for myself, walking around in that skimpy gown. But after a night of prayer, I'm happy. I've got family and friends, and I have a God who sees me.
It's easy to know God has promises for us that we can rely on. But it brings another level of confidence when we can embrace the fact that His eyes are always upon us. Whether in this life or the next, His attention is on me. He sees me, and I am His.
Stay healthy and have a blessed day!
