Spending time waiting

We all know that feeling, don't we? Spending time between 2 events or waiting for departure. Meeting all kinds of people along the way. Making wonderful connections in the most unexpected ways and places. While waiting doesn't mean you have to be a passive bystander.

Watching the people that are coming and going from one place to another. Families who travel together. 3 generations spending time overseas, returning home. Toddlers and babies resting in the arms of their parents. Impatient kids who need to be moving in order to get the energy flowing.

Spending Time Waiting

Patience is a virtue while waiting for the next flight, for instance. Sometimes this is challenging if you are tired and just want some peaceful quiet time. How to go about it when you are spending time waiting? For me, it's a matter of closing off from the surrounding noise. Not just creating some kind of energy field. It's a matter of focus and mindfulness as well.

Being highly sensitive, it's important for me what works best to stay balanced. I have done a lot of training over the past years to be able to stay calm. Especially in cramped spaces with lots of different energies. It can get pretty overwhelming. Sound is a specific type of energy.

Like music, it can soothe you and calm you down. On the other end, it might upset you. Or it will fuel the denser energies of the lower chakras. Staying in my center is crucial when it's challenging my senses. Which makes the time of waiting even more difficult.

Waiting or spending time are 2 different types of energy. Like the way, you can spend your time positively. So waiting for what is about to come can be perceived on different levels. This traveling, I have done over the past 2 weeks, has proven that as well.

Especially when I got tired, it is harder to stay calm and collected. So whatever it is that works to keep the energy flowing. It's different for everyone. I know the importance of finding the tools that are assisting you. It could be music or meditation. It might be writing or reading a book.

So here I am waiting for my next flight to bring me home again. Feels like I left a piece of my heart behind, which has it impacted my emotional balance. So started writing this message to create more inner balance and inner standing as well. How we can deal with the emotions of goodbyes, even though I know, distance is relative. Yet is important as well in the way we feel when we have to say goodbye and leave again.

Taking my time to find the words that come up to express a moment in time, in the big waiting hall for my departure. It made it easier to be in the moment, feeling the emotions, as well the way I also know I will be welcomed heartfelt. So spending time waiting for me is to comprehend the impact and layers it expresses. Love is the bridge and master key, within me, as well as with my children and grandchildren.

Made my time spent and waiting to be in the now and the moment, close to my heart. In this wonderful connection that bridges the real material world and the inner space. Heartfelt as well, so this is what makes spending time waiting so valuable.

And so it is
