During chasing, Sri Lanka was all out at only 137/10 in 16.4 overs and lose this match by 91 runs with India due to great bowling by Arshdeep Singh 3/20 (4), Yuzvendra Chahal 2/30 (3), Hardik Pandya 2/30 (4), Umran Malik 2/31 (3), and Axar Patel 1/19 (3). Kusal Mendis 23 (15), Dasun Shanaka 23 (17), and Dhananjaya de Silva 22 (14) were good batting from the Sri Lanka side.
Suryakumar Yadav (IND) 112* (51), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in batting.
Axar Patel (IND), was declared as the Player of the Series due to his great performance in batting and bowling in the whole series.
