Confused, vague spoilers for Valhalla DLC

Butch:

Played some, and, as I played Assassin's Creed, I have questions.

Finished the fort thingy.  As per usual, I was so good at being stealthy until the very end and then I fucked up and all hell broke loose.  Still, not bad.  So....what's the scroll thingy that the lady is going to use to "plant a seed in Jerusalem?"  That can't be Christianity or anything, because it's the eleventh century already.  That has to be referencing a game.  Explain.

Then said goodbye to Hytham (feel guilty, Bassim!  This guy looked up to you!), and Gunthar or whoever and Alfred.  I assume that Alfred saying "I have established an Order based on Christ" means the Templars, yes?  This is the birth of the gang that's going to be the baddies for the next thousand years.  Are we, as veteran AC players, supposed to be upset with Eivor for this?  We've played games with bad Templars.  Should we be all "Eivor you dolt! You could have killed him and saved us a thousand years of baddie!  Not to mention, they wouldn't have made AC: Unity!" I can't tell.

I also kinda forgot which Viking Guntham or whoever was.  He's Christian now, OK, and he's teaming up with Alfred, which can't be good cuz Templars, but I forgot what he did in the main game so that lost something.

That's what I did.

What's with the scroll and Jerusalem?  That was obviously something that was supposed to make me go "OOOOOO!"

Feminina:

I feel like the Jerusalem thing might be referring back to the very first game, which was set during the Crusades, but I'm not sure either.

As for the rest of your questions, I don't know, man, I'm still in Niflheim so I haven't done any of that. I just... can't... quit...Niflheim...

Butch:

Who can quit Niflheim, really?

Wait, what's Niflheim?  Where's Niflheim?  I did the fort, then went after memories.  There's more? Where's more? Is that the other weird thing I assumed was just loot?

Feminina:

Sorry, that was vague. Niflheim is Havi's memories. I've been in a drugged stupor reliving his past ever since I got back to town from the fort.

As one does.

Butch:

Where do I get into a drugged stupor????

I bet it's the other quest in Ravensthorpe I thought was just river raids.  Is that it?

Feminina:

Yeah, it's a whole story with an icon on the map and everything. Talk to a guy and then...uh...the shaman lady, whose name I can't remember. She'll give you another potion, and it's off to the dreamworld.

Butch:

On it!
