You cover my mouth
I lower my eyes,
You fit with the crowd,
I hopelessly sigh.
I swallow so hard,
and walk very light.
You mingle off guard,
with nothing to hide.
You strut ever free,
a full better half.
My best friend is me,
I am all I have.
To know me better,
is my concrete plan.
Instant forgetter,
erased as you ran.
I take a deep breath
then slowly exhale,
A mouthful of depth,
takes life for a sail.
My head held up tall,
smile placed on my face,
I conquer it all,
with feet still in place.
The last deed to do,
clear traces of you.
Create better views,
so my dreams come true.
Undervalued pawn,
a role I once played.
Bright as early dawn,
great values displayed.
