I'm on the mend but still feeling like crap. I have two more days of antibiotics after today. I'm not in too much pain but there's definitely some pain happening. Residual soreness. I'm exhausted. I fall asleep so easily and quickly at night with how tired I am and I even took a nap yesterday.
Been drinking the Pedialyte, trying to just drink one a day to replenish and keep up with my liquid intake. Not drinking as much water today as the past two days but still drinking more than the daily recommended 3 liters at least.
Work has been somewhat difficult, just trying to stay alert and rein in my thoughts and focus. I'll be in meetings and it's been so difficult for me to follow what is being said and when I get asked a question I'm all flustered because I just am not 100% myself obviously. No one knows I am struggling with illness/infection this week, normally I would probably have taken some sick days but I have tried to power through since I'm working from home. It's still difficult though, to try and focus on work and being present when I'm in pain and exhausted and feeling awful.
Going to try and take it easy and be kind to myself. I'm not feeling well this week. I will do better at work next week. That's it.
Seth helped with cleaning the house yesterday thank goodness. We have actual cleaners coming this Friday which is perfect timing. So excited to have a fully cleaned house. Then we will have to decide how often we feel like having them come help us clean.
Haven't been to the gym in a bit. I don't really want to go until I feel fully better and the infection is totally gone. I know working out is important but maybe just a walk today will do well enough.
Looks like no snow on the horizon so far in December up until December 8th it just looks like rain. I know the snow will come though. It always does, although lately because of climate change the snow mostly accumulates in January and February and that's pretty much it. Just two months with snow sticking to the ground. I can't wait honestly. I think it will be fun this time around, now that my circumstances are much different. We keep the truck in the garage so it stays snow-free, I don't have to drive in it if I don't want to. We got snow tires put on the truck. Let it snow!
Anyway that's about it...going to get some cleaning done and try to rest up more.
