Ah, my mouth is still dancin'! I cooked up a batch last evening, over a little campfire in the grill at the park. For those of you who don't have the specs on the soup, I'm posting the recipe.
1 10.75 oz. can Campbell's condensed Tomato Soup
1 5 fluid oz. can evaporated milk
3 Heaping Tablespoons (Soup spoons) Popeye Canned Leaf Spinach
Pour the tomato soup into a saucepan. Then, pour the evaporated milk into the empty soup can. Fill the rest of the way water. Add this to the soup in the saucepan, and stir to blend well. Add the Spinach and stir well to blend. Heat on medium high heat until it begins to simmer and you see steam. YUM!
I enjoyed this with Grilled Cheese sandwiches made with Great Grains Multi-Grain bread.
