It's been a stressful time, with GCSE results, enrolling for college and dealing with new schedules and routines. So a fun and easy day was in order. What could be better than crazy golf ! A new 18 hole course and driving range opened a few years ago and we've only been once, pre covid to use the driving range.
The sun was shining and the weather was warm and our competitive streak came out to play, especially when chocolate was offered as a prize for the winner !
The course is Viking themed and each hole has a on easy and difficult route. The first couple of holes are fairly straightforward, although it takes work for a hole in one. The course is set around streams and waterfalls, including a couple of fun ways to get to the next hole
The boy managed a couple of hole in ones, while I only got one, at hole 14 we were on equal points then the boy pulled ahead but a fluke shot on the last hole put me in the leader and the winner, we shared the chocolate. Another fun day out making memories with my boy and another one ticked off the The 100
