Changing with the Times

I have seen people change
when they meet new friends
and old people like me
keep looking at them
with the same old expectations...

I have seen even those
who were considered dear
to my life change,
my childhood friends changed
as I grew up,
old friends and ways also
changed every time
after getting or changing a job...

Holding on to just one bitter thing,
I have seen people
free their hands,
knowing full well
that creation takes time,
not messing up,
whether it's a relationship
or anything else...

Times have changed
and so has everything else,
including me,
it's necessary too,
nothing will change
if nothing changes with the times,
those who did not change
were lost in oblivion...

But one thing never changes
or gets outdated,
whatever makes someone smile,
that's the only thing beautiful
in this changing world...

Life never stops
with or without someone,
but it doesn't pass
without a few loved ones,
even if they have changed a little...
