When life takes a turn
and feels a bit bent,
I fill my bath tub
with peaceful intent.
Warm flows always work
as a perfect base,
a calmness soon lurks
erasing the chase.
Cologne will baptize
with floral waters,
shut both of my eyes
see my grandmother.
Softly she whispers,
"Prepare like a tea",
Herb mixtures are stirred,
with relaxing leaves.
She says her goodbyes
to then drift away,
botanical high ,
submerged I then lay.
All troubles and aches
are lifted at once,
the bath is then drained
anxiety gone.
