That's how ubiquitous it was that year. Paul Shanklin, who did most of the song parodies for Rush Limbaugh, parodied it a few years later as "Al Gore Paradise." And of course there was Weird Al Yankovic, who also parodied it, as "Amish Paradise." It became his best selling song, and may still be. Yeah, that song got around.
