In the year 1931, Dr. Radha Krishnan was also received or honored with the Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award in India. He was also an Indian academic professor and was born on September 5, 1888, so the birthday of Dr. Radhakrishnan is celebrated as a teacher's day every year on September 5 in India.
