Maruti Suzuki's new C Segment Sedan, 'the Ciaz' is all set to give the Vernas' and the Citys' a run for their money. Fresh looks and the trustworthy Suzuki badge alongwith the gasoline and diesel options, a longer wheelbase 2.65 metres (second longest car in the segment after Linea), economical mileage figures of 20+ kmpl for the 1.4L petrol version and 26+ kmpl for the 1.3L diesel head, spacious interiors and a feature laden dashboard certainly seems fascinating. Although the power stands at a modest 91bhp @ 6000rpm with a torque of 13.1kgm @ 4000 rpm, its low kerb weight of 1010 kg (Petrol) and 1105 kg (Diesel) makes it a perfect package. Rear AC Vents is the biggest plus point of Ciaz. Maruti Suzuki's new attempt to lure the premium customers away from Hyundai and Honda is going to create a headache for their rivals. I am impressed. What about you??
