The solution to all our problems is rooted in the fact, God is with us. In our situations of distress we lose sight of this comforting fact. Paul does not preach a gospel of wine and roses. He preached the true Gospel of saving humans in a sinful world. He spoke of the great difficulties believers might face. Nevertheless, because of the word of the Lord, "I am with you always!" Paul states, "Who shall separate us from the love of the Christ? tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (according as it hath been written — 'For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long, we were reckoned as sheep of slaughter,') but in all these we more than conquer, through him who loved us," Romans 8:35-37 YTL. Are we the vanquished or the conqueror?
