These blossoms or the ones out in the field, each point back to the goodness of God.
And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: and yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Matthew 6:28-30 KJV
Jesus used the frailty of the flower to teach us.
His handiwork is an everyday witness.
Romans 1:20 KJV — For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
May each heart be inspired by creation to walk in faith knowing God is trustworthy.
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:31-33 KJV
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for Your creation. Thank You for the beauty of a single flower, whether cultivated by people or wild. Thank You for the incredible witness of the universe and how intricate the designs of a single blade of grass. Lord, thank You for the truth of Your Word which gives us life. Thank You for the encouragement we see in Your scriptures, guiding us to live according to Your design, for You know how You created all things. Lord, thank You for Your love. Your sacrifice which paid for my sin. Thank You for Your love, which is beyond my comprehension. Lord Jesus, thank You for life. It is a beautiful gift. I love You, Jesus. Thank You for first loving me. Amen.
