Balancing Awareness
Today is about creating a balance between how I feel and what I know. The theme of this awareness and balancing is also about freeing myself from old patterns and beliefs that once provided safety, To move forward into new possibilities. Time to cultivate my seeds so to speak, for now, is the moment. At times, it is easier to choose for safety at the expense of growth. Limiting new possibilities and transformation.
Balancing awareness is also about opening up, To listen to the possible opening for growth and its power. Possibilities that occur and leadership. About manifestation as well, while creating new ways of looking at things. To look from a different perspective to the reality at hand. What happens in the world around me? The threats are showing up in the news every day. The violence and aggression towards each other, micro and macro scale wise.
Fear is the dominant energy at this moment in time. Affects so many people, losing their homes and safety. Being dominated by governments, or groups of fighters, supposedly in their fight for freedom. Actions that only lead to more aggression and fear. Forced by power, using tools, like guns and machinery to intimidate as well. No respect for the boundaries. Not for country borders, not for the individual rights we all have in our existence. The Human Rights, as we have agreed on to respect and honor
What are human rights? Human rights are the basic rights and freedoms that belong to every person in the world, from birth until death. They apply regardless of where you are from, what you believe, or how you choose to live your life. They can never be taken away, although they can sometimes be restricted – for example, if a person breaks the law, or in the interests of national security. These basic rights are based on shared values like dignity, fairness, equality, respect, and independence. These values are defined and protected by law.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) is a milestone document in the history of human rights. Drafted by representatives from different legal and cultural backgrounds from all regions of the world, the Declaration was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in Paris on 10 December 1948 (General Assembly resolution 217 A) as a common standard of achievements for all peoples and all nations. It sets out, for the first time, for fundamental human rights to be universally protected, and it has been translated into over 500 languages.
You might think, how does this relate to balancing awareness? Growing up in my country after WWII, this declaration of Human Rights was a milestone for the generation of my parents, As well as so many of their generation. It was an energy of consciousness and awareness, after dealing with the threats and violence they had to endure for 5 years during this wartime.
It was imprinted in the way we learned about freedom and also how much to appreciate it. Never taking it for granted was the lesson they were taught. This was also integrated into our government as well the way we were made aware of this human right so to speak.
Through the years, the timeline I grew up in, changed profoundly over the past 60 years. As much as I would love to say we have come a long way since WWII regarding human rights, as humanity we are not. The same energy which created the first as well the second world war is still in play. Countries are still at war with each other. Regimes are still dominating and violating their own people, just for the sake of power and greed. Violence and fear are such a big part of the process we all are watching in our news feeds. Human rights are being violated still in a big way.
Becoming aware of the underlying processes of violation, disrespect and lack of empathy are very important for me to understand. In order to keep my inner balance. Every time I watch the news or read the papers, it is hard to stay out of the negative energy. My high sensitive nature is also challenged by the energy that is felt so deeply. As it does reconnect former incidents and challenges I have been dealing with in past lifetimes that have been coming up. During this lifetime it has been walking the spiral of experiences, to keep working through these emotions.
Being aware of this makes it necessary to keep an open mind and heart. In order to balance these positive and negative emotions. Not by ignoring them, yet by allowing them to come up to the surface, to learn through them, to understand the underlying energy of possibilities to choose from. This duality is the ongoing process of becoming more and more aware of the power love has. To choose, from the heart, to connect with this aspect deep within myself. Which allows me to balance my inner being, becoming more and more aware of this universal energy.

I came to understand, to make a difference, comes through our own individual changes as well. We never should underestimate the power this will have on our own surroundings. Every soul is filled with this energy of love. Tapping into this energy, we can create a difference because we all are connected with each other. Throw a stone in a pool of water and the waves will appear. To become larger and larger. There is no real distance, in order to touch someone's heart. We all have the power to do so. Becoming aware of this is key. To be able to balance it and expand it from the heart is the master key.
And so it will be
