The United State of America is being organized the world's largest maritime exercise which will be started from 12^th July and will conclude on 4^th August.

Navies and maritime forces of 28 countries are taking part in the exercise, being hosted by the US. The sea phase of the exercise begins from July 12 and will complete with its advance level with the closing ceremony on August 4.

The name of world's largest maritime exercise:

The USA navy is hosting the world's largest maritime exercise named as 'RIMPAC 2022'. RIMPAC is the short form of the Rim of the Pacific exercise which is going to be organized amid the tension of USA and China over the Indo-Pacific region.

Indian Navy participates in exercise:

Indian Navy's frigate INS Satpura and P8I aircraft have been positioned off Hawaii for the Rim of the Pacific exercise, known as the world's largest maritime drills. While INS Satpura arrived at Hawaii on June 27, the P8I aircraft arrived on July 2.

INS Satpura: It is an indigenously developed and designed 6000-tonne guided missile stealth frigate equipped to search and destroy antagonists in air, surface, and underwater.

P-8 Aircraft: USA's aerospace company 'Boeing' has manufactured the P-8 aircraft. The Indian Navy was the first international client for the P-8 aircraft. The aircraft is also functioned by the US Navy, the Royal Australian Air Force, the UK's Royal Air Force and the Royal Norwegian Air Force.

At the multi-dimensional exercise:

In the world's largest maritime exercise and the multi-dimensional exercise around 38 warships, 31 unmanned systems, 170 aircraft and over 25,000 personnel are taking part in the multi-dimensional exercise.

The P8I will be showing its capabilities in coordinated multinational, multiplatform advanced anti-submarine warfare operations. The P8I aircraft with its superior maritime surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities and operational readiness has turned out to be an important asset to the Indian Navy.
