TOPIC: TEMPLE OF THE LIVING GOD IV

TEXT: EXODUS 25:8
And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them. KJV

It is very important that you do not in any way allow your mind slip out of the truth that God's desire is the dwelling of men.

After the children of Israel were led out of Egypt by the hand of Moses to the land God promised them, while they journeyed through the wilderness, God, haven been with them continued in his desire to relate with them. He called Moses up into the mountain to receive the law written in the tables of stone and also gave him directive on how the people should draw close to him. (Exodus 24:12-18)

Specifically, he commanded that they should build him a sanctuary that He might dwell with them. But of course he gave a pattern of how the terbanacle with the sanctuary and the Holiest of all inside must be constructed. Much more is the simple truth that God never intend to be far from man nor did he plan to have a restriction between himself and man. His heart longs for togetherness and fellowship. (Exodus 24:1-22)

So, the children of Israel made the tebanacle, built him a sanctuary. That they might approach him. This is just a shadow of the reality that we have in Christ Jesus. There is no more barricade or restriction. Our bodies is now his temple. Remember, the veil that covers the holiest of all was torn at Jesus' death. God's voice reach out to all with a open entrance by his grace and power of his spirit. (Hebrews 8:1-13)

Now, we can call on God the Father in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and we have a passage unto him without restriction. We come boldly to the throne of grace, where mercy and truth hath kissed each other. Our hearts are purified by faith and nothing is standing in the gap between us and our Father, God. (Hebrews 4:16)

What a awesome life we have received by faith in Christ Jesus. You will do well to communicate the truth of this eternal life to others. Don't keep it to yourself. God is not far from man, rather men are kept back from him through their ignorance. But we must speak about the love and grace of God in the death and resurrection of Christ to all nations of the world. The field is ripe for harvest.

PRAYER

In the name of Jesus, I come against every ignorance in the heart of men and the blindness caused by the God of this world, who blinds the heart of men from receiving the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God. Souls are saved in Jesus' name. Amen
