The startup incubation and innovation centre of IIT Kanpur has come up with a new initiative named "NIRMAN" Accelerator Program. The Department of Science and Technology, Government of India has partnered with the SIIC of IIT Kanpur to launch this program.

This initiative will help the innovative startups to increase the manufacture of products. These startups have the domain of mainly Agriculture and Healthcare sector of India.

Details Of The Program:

The NIRMAN program of IIT Kanpur is supported by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. It will be a great initiative in the field of helping those startups which are primary engaged in Healthcare and Agriculture sector, according to the authorities.
It will help in manufacturing and providing support to increase production. It will also help the startups to overcome the increasing challenges with the manufacture.
Both Agriculture and Healthcare sectors in India need a stimulation and support to enhance productivity and improve quality. In this scenario, this initiative by IIT Kanpur will become a great influence.
A total number of 15 startups will be selected under the program in the initial phase.
The invitation of applications from the startups is begin from 21st July 2022.
The startup which becomes the best performing startup will get a cash prize upto 15 lakh.
