In the second T20 match, India won the match by 49 runs with England due to great performance in batting and bowling. After winning this match, India leads by (2-0) in the 3 T20 matches series with England.

Earlier, England won the toss and chose to bowl first thus India first batted and made a good score of 170/8 in 20 overs due to good batted by Ravindra Jadeja 46* (29), Rohit Sharma 31 (20), and Rishabh Pant 26 (15). Both Chris Jordan 4/27 (4) and Richard Gleeson 3/15 (4) were good bowling from the England side. After this inning, India set a good target of 171 runs in 20 overs for England to win this match.

During chasing, England was all out at only 121 runs in 17 overs and lose this match by 49 runs with India due to good bowled by Bhuvneshwar Kumar 3/15 (3), Yuzvendra Chahal 2/10 (2), and Jasprit Bumrah 2/10 (3), Harshal Patel 1/34 (4), and Hardik Pandya 1/29 (3). Moeen Ali 35 (21), David Willey 33* (22), and David Malan 19 (25) were good batted from the England side.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar (IND) 3/15 (3), was declared as the Player of the Match due to his great performance in bowling.
