IDBI Executive DV Experience

Hey guys! My name is Akanksha Shukla. I am a banking aspirant like you all. Recently I cleared the IDBI Executive 2022 exam. I got 125.5 marks. My document verification was scheduled to be held on 29th July 2022, centre was at IDBI Bank Zonal Office, Gomtinagar, Lucknow. It was the centre for two states - Uttarpradesh and Uttarakhand. Through this article, I am going to share my DV experience. I hope it will be helpful.

The Centre was around 16 km from my home. They called us through email and the timing was 10 am. I reached there at 9:55 am. I completed entry formalities and then went inside. The infrastructure was nice and the faculty was helpful and good. There was a room which would have been set up for meetings or something. We sat on the provided chairs. After 10 minutes the process started.

First, they did our attendance properly. The names they called were listed according to ranks. They gave us 4 forms and we had to fill out details. They also told us the sequence of documents in which we had to bring our documents. After that students were called for biometrics. I completed my biometric process which included iris, fingerprint and photo capture. We had to sign on the attendance sheet with a thumb impression.

Simultaneously, they called students for document verification according to their name, which was a long process. I was waiting there sitting on my chair after completing the biometric. I talked with a few colleagues about exams and preparation. It was 2pm and lunch break was announced:-).

My dv was done after the lunch break. They called my name. They checked all documents properly. I had my identity proof ( Aadhaar or pan) , 10th and 12th marksheet, Graduation degree, EWS certificate and photocopies of these documents. They provide every detail on their website before the dv.

After that they gave us an address where our medical was scheduled to be held. It was nearly 8 km away from the zonal office. I went there and completed all the medical tests. We had to pay a medical fee- 980 rs which would be  returned after joining the bank. It was mentioned on their instructions.

It took almost 8 hours of my day. It was a lengthy and hectic process but went well. I didn't have any issues. Finally it was raining and I reached my home at 6 o'clock in the evening.
