We are in a season of great change. Earthquakes, hurricanes and tornados in unusual places and unusual weather patterns of heat and cold. Many things which were constant in the past are changing. Even in our personal lives there is rapid change and transformation.
God is calling us to leave the past behind and to move into our future. It is time to let go of old destructive ways of thinking and yield ourselves to God so he can transform us. Taking off the old garments and getting rid of everything that keeps us from victorious life. God gives us fresh vision and perspective, as we change our focus from our circumstances to Jesus. A transformation and metamorphosis happens so we become more in the image of Jesus the Messiah.
It is a new season and time to emerge from the comfort of the cocoon and to emerge transformed.
Metamorphosis is a profound change in form from one stage to the next in the life history of an organism, as from the caterpillar to the pupa and from the pupa to the adult butterfly.
"Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]." (Romans 12:2 AMPC)
