الملخص:
تؤدي مختلف العمليات المرتبطة باستخراج المواد من المقالع ونقلها إلى بعث كميات مهمة من الغبار في الجو، الشيء الذي يترتب عنه ظهور اختلالات عديدة على المجالات المجاورة. فعند انبعاث الغبار يتم تعليقه في الجو لفترة من الزمن يمكن من خلالها أن يؤثر على جودة الهواء عن طريق تغيير الكيفية التي يمر بها الضوء والتفاعل مع المكونات الأخرى للغلاف الجوي، وبهذه الطريقة يؤثر على سلوك الغلاف الجوي اتجاه بياض الأرض مما يؤثر على درجة امتصاص وعكس أشعة الشمس وبالتالي التأثير على درجة حرارة المجال محليا. كما أنه حين تكون تداعيات الغبار مهمة جدا، تكون النسبة التي ترسبت منه على النباتات كافية لتغيير تركيب مادة الكلوروفيل وإبطاء نموها. دون أن ننسى أن تلقي المسطحات المائية والتربة المتواجدة حول المقالع لرواسب من الغبار الناجم عن أنشطتها، يقوم بتعديل بعض الخصائص الفيزيائية والكيميائية لهذه الأوساط، الشيء الذي يتسبب في التغيير في حجم إنتاجيتها، سلوكها اتجاه الضوء، وزيادة درجة حمضيتها وتكلسها، مما ينعكس بالسلب على الساكنة، وعلى نباتات المنطقة والمحاصيل الزراعية.
Abstract
The various processes associated with the extraction and transport of materials from quarries result in the emission of significant quantities of dust into the atmosphere. This results in the emergence of many detriments. When dust is emitted, it is suspended in the atmosphere for some time during which it can affect air quality by changing the way light passes through and interacts with other components of the atmosphere. In this way, it affects the behavior of the atmosphere concerning the albedo of the Earth, which results in a change in the degree of absorption and reflection of sunlight, and thus affects the temperature of the local area. When the dust fallout is in large quantities, some of it settles on the plants which can be enough to alter the composition of the chlorophyll and slow plant growth. We can also mention that the water bodies and the soil located around the quarry receive dust deposits resulting from these site activities. The physicochemical characteristics of these physical environments can be modified, depending on the increase in pH, the increase in alkalinity, and the modification of productivity, which negatively affects the population, the local plants, and agricultural crops.
