In the first T20 match between India and Ireland, India won the first T20 match by 7 wickets with Ireland due to good bowling and batting. After winning this match, India leads the series by (1-0) in the two T20 matches series with Ireland.
Earlier India won the toss and chose to bowl first thus Ireland first batted and made a good score of 108/4 in 12 overs due to good batted by Harry Tector 64* (33), and Lorcan Tucker 18 (16). Yuzvendra Chahal 1/11 (3), Bhuvneshwar Kumar 1/16 (3), Avesh Khan 1/22 (2), and Hardik Pandya 1/26 (2) were good bowling from the Indian side. After this inning, Ireland set a target of 109 runs in 12 overs for India to win this match.
During chasing, India loses 3 wickets, reached the target successfully in only 9.2 overs, and won the match easily by 7 wickets with Ireland due to great batted by Deepak Hooda 47* (29), Ishan Kishan 26 (11), and Hardik Pandya 24 (12).
