Shooters: It's a male problem of disassociation, fostering the need to take lives with a phallus rather than create life with one. They are mad at other males, and take out the more vulnerable members, children. Kill children in one last orgasmic release before they themselves die.
I can't begin to understand any of that ... Understand what drives men to murder others in cold blood, kill those who are no threat to them and create havoc for the sake of havoc. I only know that a pressure cooker works or it just explodes.
He apparently saw no future for himself. Maybe that's where everybody should begin. Have a future.
Could also regulate and chip all the guns, we chip the pets and they aren't nearly so volatile. It takes many many solutions, there is no one grand solution. "Try, just try." Nothing has to be grand, perfect, or the answer for all posterity. Just try. Everybody, do a little of their part ... Teach what peace is ... Friendship. Show young men some kind of future, don't wait for them to create it themselves out of death and destruction.
The other thing to be aware of, is that horrors happen every day in countless communities across the globe. These school shootings are the traffic-stoppers, attention-grabbers.... but by far not the most tragic.
I think the worst, for me, was hearing of men who tied children to their tanks in the Iraq war. Human shields. I can't imagine what kind of person, what kind of soul ...
would do that. I know they are at the end of their ropes. I know the pressure cooker they came out of, is pretty bad.
I also know they are people who don't question themselves. The righteous.
In a world that increasingly rewards those who do not question themselves, who show no hesitation, who go for the gold.....should we only be surprised more shootings aren't happening? How many is enough to start getting to the bottom of things and applying solutions?
So far, the generations that grew up terrified of shooters, are turning into shooters. That is painfully obvious. Be the prey or become the hunter. Become what you fear most, is a type of graduation. How many children will decide the best way to overcome fear of shooters, is to become one?
We had nuclear bomb drills and earthquake drills, but options never existed for becoming a bomb or earthquake. There was no perpetuation of disaster involved.
Whoever decided live shooter drills were the way to go, made a BAD decision. Of all the things they could do, that was the wrong direction to go. You'll just make more shooters. (IMO) Unless directions were purposely TO exacerbate shooting issues and perpetuate them (how could they not know that's what they were doing?). Did they want to make sure those who were vulnerable to the process of becoming what they fear, became public enemies?
"No big solution....many small solutions." Those are the words of Barack Obama. We have to just try. But if you find a bad solution, you drop it and look for something else. Like stop having children do drills... and do gun regulation and mandatory gun insurance. That will make a bigger difference. And find whatever video game is shooting up schools for fun, and burn it.
The drills could only make things worse. Apparently the only thing kids need to know anyway, in case of a shooting, is how to play dead. I mean for fck sakes ....
