Thursdays are for throwbacks, aren't they?
Great!

Permit me to throw you back to one classic that graced our screens infectiously; WORLD APART

If you remember pretty well, it's either you're a millennial or above, not one of these 21st century breeds.

So, I was on one of these long journey buses and the driver decided to distract us with this movie. For the record, I am not a fan of Nollywood movies. I just didn't have a choice. Once a while I catch myself staring.

Fast-forward, we got to this part of the movie where Uli (Ini Edo); the village girl had to be returned to the village where she was brought from for no fault of hers. Her only crime was that a Prince fell in love with her.

Her distraught mother in the village in her struggle to grasp why, said; "𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐬, 𝐢𝐭 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬"

Strangely, what they say love makes mad, we saw it with the Prince finding his way to that village under bizarre circumstances and the rest was a happy ending.

The will of God did come to pass and Uli not only got married to her first love, she became an aspiring queen of that city where she once came to as a housemaid.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬, 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬' 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞.
