TOPIC: MAKE DECLARATIONS I
TEXT: PSALMS 91:2
This I declare about the lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. (NLT)
Declarations are statements voiced or spoken out, which comes from within. A child of God is expected to make declarations from his Spirit in accordance to the written word of God.
You are to say what the Lord has said concerning you in his word. Make a bold statement as you have studied and read in the word of God. We have a speaking spirit. The believer is not expected to be silent when it come to the word, you are expected to educate and change your language by the word of God.
It is written that you should let the word of God dwell richly in you, in all wisdom for the purpose of personal edification, collective encouragement rendering spiritual songs of praise and psalms of adoration to God and among the saints. (Colossians 3:16).
Therefore, when you make declarations, you speak of the abundance of God's words in your heart. It is to re-align, re-affirm and remind yourself of who you are and the goodness of God towards you in Christ Jesus.
You are speaking back to God his words and it has a way of lightening your Spirit and producing joy with a settled heart that it is well, regardless of the situation. For if God be for you, nothing can be against you.
So, what will you say of the Lord? I will say he is my refuge and fortress, my God, in whom I trust. In him I dwell, far from evil and destruction. He is my secret place, my abode and rest. The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, whose love is my strength and hope. Keep your declaration of God's Goodness, embedded in the renewed knowledge of his word out of your mouth. Happy fifth month.
PRAYER
I will speak of the mercies of the Lord forever, I will speak of the goodness of the Lord. Thank you Father for your mercies and grace; it's unfailing, unfading, unchanging and upheld by understanding of your person and character. I love you Lord! Amen
