Drink water from your own cistern, flowing water from your own well. Should your springs be scattered abroad, streams of water in the streets? Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth, a lovely deer, a graceful doe. Let her breasts fill you at all times with delight; be intoxicated always in her love. Proverbs 5:15-16, 18-19 ESV
Following on Delilah's Lap this morning we see the effect of drinking from various cisterns(wells). You see adultery or fornication has adverse effects on our capacity to relate. Today's passage from Proverbs speaks specifically to the matters. It asks a question should your springs be scattered abroad? Streams of water in the streets...
In our work with girls on the streets we do not call them prostitutes but treasures in dark places. They are treasures to be unearthed and many a man pours his springs in the street. The passage goes on to state, Why should you be intoxicated, my son, with a forbidden woman and embrace the bosom of an adulteress? The iniquities of the wicked ensnare him, and he is held fast in the cords of his sin. He dies for lack of discipline, and because of his great folly he is led astray. Proverbs 5:20, 22-23 ESV. Should our indiscipline cost us so gravely brethren.
Over the years trying to become a sign post of what God expects of a father, I have discovered this truth as the passage states today. It is simply that, as you Drink water from your own cistern, flowing water from your own well. Let your fountain be blessed, and rejoice in the wife of your youth, a lovely deer, a graceful doe. Let her breasts fill you at all times with delight; be intoxicated always in her love.
The only way you would be satisfied and intoxicated by her love is by nurturing her regardless what you face. Your fountain is blessed and you Rejoice in the wife of your youth when you do not drink from many wells in the streets of life. Science has proven that the moment you enter a woman you alter her DNA with yours and vice versa I dare state. Proving that the two become one and in God's eyes you're married. How many of us men are married to so many women that it affects the one true well you chose as spouse?
Today the focus is for us to drink of our own wells and note that as we do so we are satisfied. When you come into your own well it is a worship and act of praise. Don't let such a time to be in vain. For your determined love to God and your spouse blesses His name. Lord bless this time of praise, Lord honor this moment of worship. Touch each heart in this place. Won't you be glorified in this service Lord? Bless this hour, bless this time of praise. In Jesus name. Never enter your spouse without an expectation. One such time we did worship with our bodies God answered us instantly as God sent a class mate to meet the need at midnight. That story I will tell tomorrow folks but sires never enter that woman without an expectation from God. In fact I dare say God is most glorified when we are naked and Unashamed. Father bless such a time of praise in Jesus name as men drink of their own cisterns Amen and Amen! Peradventure one has broken his wells by going after other wells today I declare healing into men and women affected so and break such blood ties by the power in the blood of Jesus Amen and Amen!
