  • Central sleep apnea – This type of sleep apnea occurs when your brain does not send proper signals to the muscles which control breathing.
  • Complex sleep apnea syndrome – This type of sleep apnea is also called as treatment-emergent central sleep apnea that occurs if any individuals are suffering from both central sleep apnea and obstructive sleep apnea.
