Agree and choose to harmonize with God and not the enemy of our souls. We waste much time and energy, in our thought life and talk to others about what the enemy is doing. We forget that there is power in our words. We allow the enemy's suggestions of fear, worry, anxiety, doubt and unbelief to consume us because we agree with him, and bring misery on ourselves.
Instead, consciously decide to clothe yourselves in praise, lifting your faces to God the Father of lights. Bless, thank and praise him. Praise destroys the spirit of heaviness, as we choose to agree with God. Remember Jesus said: "I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world." [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.] (John 16:33 AMP)
The Lord inhabits our praise and praise of God overcomes our circumstances. Paul and Silas had been beaten and wrongfully thrown in prison. But about midnight, as Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the [other] prisoners were listening to them, Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the very foundations of the prison were shaken; and at once all the doors were opened and everyone's shackles were unfastened. (Acts 16:25-26 AMP)
