Officer Jesse Whitten, a Santa Rosa, California cop was friends with a homeless pregnant woman and the most beautiful thing was adopting her baby after she put to birth.
Cops always do their best to secure lives and properties, some go to the extent of providing shelter and comfort to those who need it.
In February, the homeless woman decided to give her baby to the Whittens.
They were concerned for the baby's health as the mother suffered addiction.
"Honestly, that mother who was addicted has my respect. Instead of keeping the baby and risking her life, she asked the family to adopt her. Not everyone can do that," said Samurai Levi.
Another viewer commented, "Somehow, the birth mom could see through her self-induced madness and noticing that this couple were good, stable, and loving folks. And she took a wise decision about her daughter's future. I respect her for that."
During the adoption process, the three whitten forks couldn't wait to meet their new sister and during the court hearing, they all agreed to accept the little beauty to the family.
Jesse told Good Morning America, "She's so adorable. She will cry if she needs something, obviously as babies do, but as soon as we would touch her, she'd immediately stop crying. She knew right away that she was safe."
Ashley and Jesse decided to name her Harlow Maisey and were named after her mother Harlow.
