As I have said the entire "Black Lives Matter" rubric was poorly organized, ill-conceived in terms of the empirical facts, and a failure (except for the elites in the community who got rich off the fraud). Not only is the death rate the same or greater in the Africana community (consuming many "black lives") but at the federal, state, and local level almost no real substantive legislation has been passed to stop police brutality. The blanket immunity still exists, whistleblowers continue to be fired and thrown out of unions, even in cases where there are convictions there is usually some plea bargain or civil payout that evades full consequences to the guilty and covers up the full extent of the crimes under the guise of NDAs. On the other side of the ledger, society has still not moved to properly protect the police or help them engage in proper citizen support with a wider variety of non-lethal technologies and strategies or adequate pay, instead proposing nonsensical liberal feelgood rhetoric like "defund the police." Vigilantes are now targeting innocent officers for death, further depleting the ranks. In sum it does not appear that either "black lives" or "blue lives" matter, but power does and both types of "lives" are exploited to maintain the system of power for those that truly benefit.
