About five years ago, I had this big day coming up and I was so happy and thankful for making it that far.
That day wouldn't have materialised and come to fruition if, I had listen or taken just one negative statement that was uttered by someone I thought had my back and could have been there for me, no matter what happens to me in life.
It pierced so deeply and torn my heart into pieces because, it was a big blow in my face and I wasn't expecting that from such a person, considering the relationship between us.
I almost gave that beautifully memorable day up because I was heart broken and shuttered but thank God for the few priceless friends who believed and still do in me, know me better for my capabilities and were and are still with me through it all.
How they held me through that moment, was mind blowing and priceless to me. Their words of encouragement, motivation, their positive energy and prayers helped me through and the day ended joyfully and to God's glory.
Some few lessons below, were learnt that day and I will like to share them with you today, so you can be guided by them.
God can use anyone at all to change your situation so be humble. Some friends are gold and can be more than blood relations. keep them when you come across them. Anyone at all can disappoint you so be careful of who you trust in life. One negative word or statement can steal your joy and ruin you for the rest of your life so be careful of what you take in from people. You can get broken at any point in time so surround yourself with people who are God fearing, who can pick you up when you are down and can pray for and with you in all circumstances. Live a good life and treat all right no matter what and all the good things will come your way. And most especially, trust in God and not in any human because you can be disappointed by humans at any point in time no matter what your relationship with the person is.
Be optimistic always. Know thyself better than anyone. You are the CEO of your life so you have to surround yourself with people who have positive vibes and energy always, people who can pick you up and you also, doing same for them no matter what life throws at you.
Let your thoughts be guided and guarded always else it will be snatched from you by the negativities from people.
