Google paid tribute to Stephen Hawking on his 80th birth anniversary on Saturday (i.e. today) with an animated video on its homepage. The video draws Hawking's life and work, with a narration by the scientist himself that was generated with the approval of his kin.

What is Google doodle?
A Google Doodle is an exceptional, temporary adjustment on Google's homepages' logo with intention to mark holidays, events, achievements, and notable historical figures of particular countries.
The first Google Doodle was made on 1998 edition of the long-running annual event called 'Burning Man' in Black Rock city, Nevada.

He was a famous English cosmologist, author, and theoretical physicist.

Stephen was born in Oxford, England and at his early age he was very curious about the universe. He was diagnosed with a neurodegenerative disease at the age of 21, which slowly bounded him to a wheelchair. After his lost speech he was able to communicating through a speech-generating device. Google identifies him as "one of history's most influential scientific minds".

Hawking got graduation degree from Oxford University with a BA degree in Physics and after that he obtained a PhD from the University of Cambridge. He was at highest level of curiosity with black holes in which he became the foundation for his studies and research.

In 1974, Stephen Hawking exposed that particles could outflow from black holes. That theory has been taken as his most important contribution to physics.
The very famous and important theories of his studies are black holes and the Big Bang. His theories on the origins and mechanics of the universe revolutionized modern physics. Even his best-selling books constructed the field widely available to millions of readers worldwide.
