Xi Jinping emphasized that in today's world, the human race is experiencing multiple crises which are seldom seen. While facing increasingly emergent/endless global issues and challenges, we should persist in openness, tolerance, consultation and cooperation, uphold and safeguard multilateralism and actively promote building community with shared future for mankind. We need to unite to work together and practice true multilateralism. The essential point of multilateralism is that international affairs should be discussed and handled by everyone and that every country should take control of the future and destiny of the world. We need to staunchly safeguard the international system. We need to keep up with the time and continuously improve the global governance system. We need to adhere to main aspects of democratization of international relations, increase the representation and right to speech of developing countries in international affairs, and strive to promote development of global governance system in a more just and reasonable direction. We must focus on actions and implement the global cooperation agenda. I propose a global development initiative to build a community with a shared future for global development. I hope all parties will actively participate. We must insist on giving priority to development, promote cooperation in areas such as poverty reduction, anti-epidemic and vaccines, development financing, green transformation, and interconnection, and promote global development to a new stage of balance, coordination and forgiveness.
