As the semester draws to a close, so does my time interning with the Texas Wesleyan Esports department. My work load has been reduced but I am still trying my best to see what I can do and what I can help out with.
This week the social media team in combination with career services hosted a movie night on December 1st to usher in the festive period. I was charged with assisting in creating an instagram post for this event.
This week I learned to enjoy the process more than the result, during a journey or when you are on a road towards something, you should enjoy the process in getting to the final goal. That is as important if not more than the final goal because of the ups and downs along the way help shape you, and your trials provide lessons to be learned.
The esports department met up for dinner to celebrate a successful semester. I feel honoured to have been given the chance to work with this team and the skills and experiences that I have gained, far outweigh any amount that I possibly could have been paid.
