Philippians 4:11-13 – "Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength."
Today I received an email from friends in Mexico. They told me of a wonderful lady who has faithfully served us by cleaning our Cozumel home in the past. Her name is Yara. She was recently diagnosed with an aggressive cancer. She will soon be having surgery and, thereafter, chemotherapy.
I prayed hard about what I could do to help this wonderful lady. God spoke to my heart that He has blessed me so much and in so many ways. He then told me to give to her and to pray for her. I don't know what God has in store for Yada but I do know the God who controls her future and my actions as well.
Why does God bless you? So that you can become a stream of blessings to others in every way He leads.
