SEX IN MARRIAGE

Sex makes marriage a reality, because it is the only intimate experience that couples share to the exclusion of all persons. The most secret affair in marriage is what goes on in the bedroom.
Good sexual life also adds significantly to marital satisfaction, because it helps couples to achieve personal growth and true intimacy.
On the other hand poor sexual life reduces the health of your marriage to between 50% and 70% because it becomes the underlying factor to many other problems. Sexual life is therefore, a good index of the health of a marriage. A happy sexual like makes a happy marriage.

HOLINESS OF SEX

Sex is ordained by God. He also made it a powerful drive in human beings for our use. Sexual expression of spouse is God's plan. He wants a husband and wife to find great pressure in sex.
Sex, then is an act of worship as we do what God designed us to do. You must therefore not lukewarm about sex, but take it seriously. Sex in marriage is blessed by God. You achieve total oneness and union
It is wrong see sex as dirty, defiling and inappropriate and have a sense of shame about it. Sex is not evil, it is good. The fact that sex is abused, misused and perverted does not negate the truth that it is the of God.

God made our bodies including our sexual organs and erogenous zones (areas on our bodies that create intense sexual arousal when stimulated) and called it good. You must not call anything that God has made clean impure. You should also not be ashamed to discuss what God was not ashamed to create.

See sex as beautiful, holy and healthy, so that you can talk freely about it.
Talk to your spouse about sex.
See it is an act of great honour as you celebrate your love for each other, because a marital bed is never defiled.

You must, however, appreciate that, God forbids adultery, fornication, prostitution, masturbation, bestiality, rape, incest and homosexual.
