"The recipe for perpetual ignorance is being satisfied with your opinions and content with your knowledge."     Elbert Hubbard, writer, (1856 – 1915)

We kinda discussed this in our 5-person Scripture Discussion Group this morning…Sunday, November 28, 2021…about Humility and not knowing all the answers, and somehow thinking we may be always right…and faith that it is all going to turn out all right.

Two of us had listened to an NPR radio show in the past 24 hours---same show, different times…about being a REBEL. About being a rule-breaker…for constructive aims, not destructive disruptions or violence. A rule-breaker always being "a beginner" and starting out as such after every encounter.

Being a beginner means you are open to ALL POSSIBILITIES. You may have much fear of the unknown or of the rivals you meet immediately---but THIS is exactly the path one needs to take, as a Rebel. Greet the opposers head-on and strive to get your point across, move mountains if you have to, but see that it is all worth it in the end.

This takes courage…this author, Corsair, once described COURAGE as: "Courage is finding something important that is greater than your fear, and moving toward it."

Yes, and if you are going to fall, always fall forward…fail big, gather the hell NO's---ample scattered around one big HELL YES! Without REAL and many failures, you will never discover the true YES's that will bring super success and positive power!

A beginner fails many times---but a winner beginner gets up and dusts off and persists in SEEKING THE OPPORTUNITIES in every difficulty---not spotting the difficulties in every opportunity!

Sometimes the Rebel stands alone---at first. But may become a leader…seeing he/she's a leader by looking around and seeing who is following! Start out a movement by ONE: one footstep, one word, one honest gaze, one courage-in-the-face-of-fear…and the movement is started. Many rebels align themselves with the initial Rebel and off goes the march or the sit-in or the peaceful protest. It only takes ONE!

Do you have the courage to be a REBEL, a positive rule-breaker? You will only find out when you TRY…SO TRY—be trying, as a beginner, for the rest of your life and you will be the expert!

Remember…YOU are the expert in your own story. So share your story with head up and feet standing firm!

People RESPECT the authentic…and the Rebel is about as authentic as they come!
