When I look at another human being I see that bodies are just ornate packaging and mobility systems for the brain to get about in. The human brain just processes information. Taking in air pressure waves via ears, photons via light sources, smells via molecule docks and touch pad sensors all over the skin. It really is just a computational sensory device wrapped in a hard shell. So what is it to know somebody well? What do we really know about them? We have absolutely no way of knowing what they are thinking, our only window is our owns brain sensors that pick up a persons output. But does a persons output coincide with the way their brain is thinking (computing). Absolutely not, we misjudge people, we stereo type people by their ornate packaging, we even judge a persons by characteristics of their mobility systems such as height, weight and form. We have no way of knowing what and how another brain is thinking as we take in another humans outputs. Another humans real thoughts are locked in their head the same as yours are. Brains even lie about whats on their minds to other brains when they give out information. Very often by all accounts, from little white lies to big porkies we apparently, never give out information from our own device without it being slightly coded.
This is why we should never be really troubled by another person computer trying to offend us. Other brains cannot offend us unless we want to make our own brains offended. If another persons brain sends out messages via its loud speaker and mobility systems we can only take offence if we choose to compute the information ourselves and in turn make our own brains offended. Nobody can cause us offence we have to cause it ourselves.
