The FCS Playoffs will begin on Nov. 27 at campus sites, with the field playing for the right to play in the national championship game in Frisco, Texas.
Sam Houston is the defending champion.
The first-round games will be shown on ESPN+, which gives football fans around the country to watch the entire playoff round. The teams playing in the first round are playing for the right to play the eight teams that are seeded in the bracket, all of which have a first-round bye.
The second-round games will be played the weekend of Dec. 4. The national quarterfinals will be played the weekend of Dec. 11, while the national semifinals will be played the weekend of Dec. 18.
The FCS National Championship game will be played on Saturday, Jan. 8, at noon eastern at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
