He promised He would return in the last days, so all believers have been watchfully awaiting the Lord's coming, and think that as believers in the Lord, all their sins have been forgiven, and He no longer sees them as sinners. They think they are fully ready, so they just need to wait for the Lord's return so they can be taken up into His kingdom. That's why people are always gazing at the sky, waiting for the day He suddenly appears on a cloud and takes them up into heaven to meet with Him.
