Earlier England won the toss and chose to bowl first thus Australia first batted and made a low score of 125/10 (20) due to great bowled by Chris Jordan 3/17 (4), Chris Woakes 2/23 (4), Tymal Mills 2/45 (4), Liam Livingstone 1/15 (4), and Adil Rashid 1/19 (4).  Only Aaron Finch 44 (49) was good batted from the Australian side. Australia set a target of 126 in 20 overs for England to win this match. During chasing, England loses two wickets, reached the target in 11.4 overs, and won the match easily with Australia due to great batted by Jos Butler 71* (32), Jason Roy 22 (20), and Jonny Bairstow 16* (11). Ashton Agar 1/15 (2.4), and Adam Zampa 1/37 (3) were good bowled from the Australian side. After losing this match, Australia was placed at the third position in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 points table with 4 points. Due to his great performance in bowling, Chris Jordan (ENG) 3/17 (4), was declared as the Player of the Match.
