Contentment flows throughout the air,
train eyes to focus, not compare,
though life may not often seem fair,
bumps on the road always repair.
Be grateful for the sunny days,
while finding favor when skies rain,
not everything will go your way,
sometimes bad outcome carry gain.
Appreciate the little things,
even if wishes do not win,
some great lessons can carry stings,
but often heal from deep within.
Be thankful for euphoric highs,
enjoy the moment, let glee rise,
once this phase goes, whisper goodbye,
feel blessed to have met this fine time.
Satisfaction climbs high plateaus,
wishes you touch become pure gold,
without a need to step on toes,
acceptance heals body and soul.
Be happy with all you receive,
the huge, the small, the in between,
It all works out when hearts believe,
let gratitude paint future scenes.
