You were formed unique with a purpose, a holy calling from the One who breathed life into you. There are specific ways He wants to shine His light through you that no one else on this planet can do in quite the same way you can. Your culture, language, family life, experiences, looks, trials, gifts, talents, interests, and even failures have woven together to form some very personal ways you love Jesus and are called to serve Him.
There are people who need to know the Jesus in you who might otherwise pass Him by.
Do you know your calling? You may have several, and He may weave them in and out of different seasons of your life.
But even if you don't know how God wants to use you, you can be sure your enemy does. He's been fighting against that purpose since you were a child, planting lie seeds to choke out the Truth, so you'll bow to his paths instead of rising up to soar in the Spirit's.
What has Satan been telling you? That you're not good enough? That God has abandoned you? That you can't do anything right? That you can't be a leader because no one will follow you? That you're too far gone down the road of sin or depression or wrong choices to make it back to where God called you to be?
It's time now to rise up. Isaiah 52:1-2. Grab hold of your Sword (Ephesians 6:10-18) and fight back the lies with the power of the Spirit of Truth in you. John 14:15-21. You are not alone, so be strong and courageous. The Lord your God is with you. Joshua 1:9.
YOU WERE MADE FOR THIS! YOU WERE MADE TO SOAR. YOU WERE MADE TO SHINE THE LIGHT OF CHRIST. TO PUSH BACK THE DARKNESS WITH HIS LOVE.
Lord, please give me courage to live the purpose You created me for. To overcome lies with Your truth, and let You set me free, so I can soar over every trial and circumstance on Your Eagle wings, as You lead me closer into You. Exodus 19:4.
