Colossians 3:5-10 – Therefore, put to death what belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, God's wrath is coming upon the disobedient, and you once walked in these things when you were living in them. But now, put away all the following: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and filthy language from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self. You are being renewed in knowledge according to the image of your Creator.
Once you become a Christian, no matter how hard you try, you can never measure up to the glory of God. That is why every day when we pray, we ask God to forgive us of our sins. Because we can't help it; we are sinners.
No matter how hard we try, we cannot walk without mistake. The most difficult part is accepting the fact that we are living in grace and not in guilt. Does this mean we should not strive to walk in the Grace of Christ. By absolutely no means.
But it does mean that we should embrace ourselves as new creations in Christ and embark to walk in the light. The method of our journey is empowered in the grace of Christ as we seize upon the knowledge that God is forming us into His perfect image. We are, in effect, becoming Christ-like.

Today, dispel the guilt that the world and Satan would place upon you as you fall short of perfection. Christ does not demand we take perfect steps, but rather that we follow Him in the steps that would lead us to become more and more like Him every day. Refuse to abide in the shadow of guilt. Today, live in grace and the glory of a new creation in Christ.
Stay healthy and have a blessed day!
